  A Healthy Lifestyle: Your Choice

Lifestyle is one of the essential aspects in this modern era. According to the World Health Organization, health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of diseases or infirmity. Lifestyle is one indicator of a person's quality of life. A person who has a healthy lifestyle will run his life by paying attention to the factors that affect health. 

During the current pandemic, the activities outside that we do are quite limited and most of them work or study from home. Sometimes this causes us to be lazy or "Mager" so that complaints of illness arise because the body rarely moves, irregular eating patterns to limited social interaction so that activities more often through gadget screens cause tired eyes and dizziness. 

Apparently building a healthy lifestyle is very important to apply. A healthy lifestyle is a simple choice that is very appropriate to run. A healthy lifestyle is an achievement so that we can live healthier and more peacefully in enjoying the beauty of life. If we are already in the phase of a healthy lifestyle, the body will become fit and the positive aura within us will radiate and other people will also feel the happiness we bring. People around the world are starting to realize the importance of maintaining health. Various ways are done in order to get optimal health. Here are tips to build a healthy lifestyle.

1. Self-motivation to have a healthy lifestyle

Focus on the good 

Having the right motivation is the main thing you have to do. Determine your main goal so that you can carry out your plan smoothly. It also helps to stay focused and committed. Make a note of the things you will do so that you are passionate about commitment

 2. Adequate rest

We must be able to organize our good sleep patterns so that sleep can be on time and also nourish our bodies. Launching Healthline, sleep is very important, because this rest session makes the body and mind refreshed. The benefits of sleeping with the right portion of sleep and quality can help regulate metabolism, growth, and cell regeneration, maintain brain function, concentration, focus, and productivity, and reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke.

In implementing a healthy lifestyle, maintaining a diet is important. Healthy or not, our bodies are very dependent on the food we eat. Lots of food can be harmful to our bodies, such as foods that contain lots of preservatives, junk food. The body requires the intake of all nutrients in sufficient quantities, both macronutrients, namely protein, carbohydrates, and fats; as well as micronutrients, namely minerals and vitamins. In addition, fiber, and fluid intake are also required.

Activity has a very positive influence on the condition of the body to keep it fit. If we exercise regularly, there are many benefits for the health of our bodies such as increased endurance, which can strengthen bones, reduce body fat, reduce stress, increase body fitness, etc. By WHO recommendations, it is recommended that you do this physical activity with moderate activity for 150 minutes per week. But if you want to do strenuous exercise, you can do it for 75 minutes.

5. Doing positive activities

Carrying out positive activities in building a healthy lifestyle can be through maintaining personal and environmental hygiene. We can implement this by keeping our body clean, environment, and healthy mind. In addition, we can fill it with activities that we enjoy such as being a volunteer to teach children in the village (follow the protocol) to make us feel blessed and we can see smiles on children's faces.  Besides, doing hobbies such as reading books, watching movies, visiting quiet places that have beautiful views so that the heart feels happy and not stressed.

 6. Caring for mental health

Mental health is well-being that spans the emotional, psychological, and social aspects of a person. Mental health can have an effect on physical and overall health. Try to manage your stress well. Take time to do activities that you enjoy at least once a week. Don't harbor feelings of sadness or depression, vent all the emotions you are experiencing with the people closest to you, or write them in a journal.

 7. Don't compare yourself to others

You are a unique being and there is only 1 in this world. Comparing ourselves is not a good thing to do. It will only destroy your healthy lifestyle. Not all have to be in the same phase because every human being has their own time. Learn to appreciate your own efforts. Record every effort you have made so you can see how far you have progressed.

You can definitely do it, start with small and easy things. Small things will certainly bring maximum change if accompanied by a strong determination and commitment to develop a healthy lifestyle. Sometimes it looks easy, but it will be difficult if the feeling of laziness comes at a certain time. Keep on Spirit.
